Abuja - Over 25 health workers have been killed by members of the Boko Haram sect since the beginning of this year, Executive Director of National Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Dr. Ado Muhammad, has stated, Punch reports.

Muhammad said that the death of health workers in the course of carrying out their duties will not stop government from providing healthcare services in the North East.

The sect rated as the 3rd most dangerous terrorist group, is also responsible for the death of over 1 000 people in the north east since the beginning of insurgency.
