Relocation of new South Sudanese refugee arrivals from Pagak transit centre commenced on 4 September 2015 with 4,654 relocated by 8 September.

New arrivals (since 15 December 2013) from South Sudan into Ethiopia's Gambella Regional State surpassed 100,000 on April 28 (totaling 100,426 individuals).

UNHCR estimates that more than 11,000 new arrivals from South Sudan arrived in Burubiey, Gambella Regional State over the past 72 hours.
