Financial Services in the Uganda Refugee Response – An assessment of users’ perspectives

The purpose of this assessment of user experiences and perspectives on digital financial services and assistance mechanisms is to inform actors in Uganda’s humanitarian response and other stakeholders. The data collected is representative at the settlement level for refugees and at district level for refugee hosting communities. It therefore provides a robust evidence base on the existing skills and past experiences of the target population — as well as their preferences and barriers — to accessing digital financial services.
