Press Release: UNHCR Somalia grateful for latest contribution from the Government of Japan

The Government and the people of Japan have renewed their commitment to refugees and displaced families in Somalia through a USD 4.5 million grant to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). Japan’s latest contribution will enable UNHCR to step up its humanitarian efforts and deliver services to a total of 32,460 people including refugees, asylum seekers, returnees, internally displaced people (IDPs) and vulnerable host community households.
