The NRC report, Downward Spiral, This report is based on information collected from 14 countries where NRC operates, and focuses on the economic impact of Covid-19 on displaced people’s income, food security, housing and education. The report also relies on a multi-country phone survey of 1,400 people that we conducted in eight countries. The main objectives of this report is to highlight the need for increased assistance to address the Covid-19 related economic impact, but also to ensure that for example economic stimulus packages take into account the needs of displaced people.
