A first batch of newly constructed emergency shelters (192) were handed over to South Sudanese refugees in the new site of Kaka (Haut – Uele Province).

A group of refugees fleeing Amadi state in South Sudan reached Meri site after a 10 day journey on foot and with no belongings.

A primary school and health post were inaugurated at the Biringi refugee site and handed over to local authorities to benefit both refugee and host community.

An increasing number of arrivals came to be registered in Biringi site near Aru (Ituri Province), thanks to sensitization campaign led by Congolese authorities and UNHCR.

At the new refugee site of Kaka, a school and an health post are being rehabilitated as well as water springs.

Dix nouveaux hangars ont ete construits au site de Meri pour accueillir les nouveaux arrives avec une capacite de 500 personnes.

La Commission Nationale pour les Refugies (CNR) a organise le premier convoi des la localite frontaliere de Kurukwata vers le site de Meri avec 59 refugies SSD.

La moyenne hebdomadaire des arrives pour le mois de Fevrier etait d'environ 1.500, augmentation significative par rapport au mois de Janvier (250 par semaine).
