As of 30 June 2019, 2,073 persons of concern were registered with UNHCR Tunisia, an increase of 38 per cent since the beginning of the year (1,290 persons).

On 20 June, in celebration of World Refugee Day, UNHCR met the Tunisian President, Beji Caid Essebsi, to discuss the situation of refugees in Tunisia.
