During the month of June, 169 new arrivals within mixed population flows were recorded by UNHCR and its partners. Among them 94 reached Tunisia by land from Libya, while 75 were rescued as sea and disembarked in Zarzis.

On 20 June, in celebration of World Refugee Day, UNHCR met the Tunisian President, Beji Caid Essebsi, to discuss the situation of refugees in Tunisia.
