    Terre des Hommes Italy (TdH It) is a non-profit organization, part of the Terre des Hommes International Federation with headquarters in Geneva and Brussels. Terre des Hommes International Federation is a network of ten national organizations working for the rights of children and for the promotion of equitable development without racial, religious, political, cultural or gender-based discrimination. Our organization carries out humanitarian relief and international development projects in the sectors of education, health, livelihoods, WASH and protection to benefit thousands of children, their families and communities. It currently operates in 20 countries around the world and is active in Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Northern Iraq and Jordan in the Middle East. Terre des Hommes Italy assists 100,000 children and 400,000 people with 70 projects with an annual budget of 18 Million Euros. The core expertise of TdH It is Child Protection providing a comprehensive approach to safeguard vulnerable minors. TdH It has been working in Jordan since 2005. Most of the interventions in the country are concentrated in the governorate of Zarqa as its urban areas present one of the highest poverty and fertility rates at the national level.
