3,321 spontaneous refugee returnees were verified to have arrived to South Sudan in October. This is a reduction as compared to the previous month. However, an additional 7, 284. were verified in October, who arrived earlier in 2020 (mostly in August and September 2020). This brings total of spontaneous refugee returns verified in October to 10,605.
