UNHCR staff resumed critical activities in Yida, including registration of an estimated 650 Sudanese Refugees who arrived in Yida during the last three weeks

UNHCR and logistics partner AAHI are packaging medicines for dispatch refugee Unity and Upper Nile state to replenishment supplies.

UNHCR staff confirm food distribution for all 6,961 refugee living in in Ajuong Thok has been completed today.

UNHCR and partners are due to resume relocation of refugees from Yida to Ajuong Thok before the end of the week.

As at 31 March 2014, a total of 93,824 South Sudanese refugees have arrived in Adjumani, Arua(10,138) & Kiryandongo (17,160) since the influx began on 16/12/13

Refugee relocation from Yida camp to Adjuong Thok resumed the 17th of January.

In Yida, GFD started on 16 January: both Yida and Ajuong Thok have GFD supplies to last until March 2014

In Upper Nile camps water pumping hours have been reduced in order to cope with fuel shortage, a reduction in daily water production is to be expected

A mass measles campaign (targeting 6 months to 15 years) will start soon in Yida camp and surrounding communities.
